Car immobiliser, immobilised.

Has anyone had this happen? My sons Corsa appears to have been immobilised after a jump start due to a flat battery. Any ideas apart from handing over an arm and a leg at Vauxhall whether mobile mechanics would carry the right electrical equipment that can get the car running? Or had this problem sorted before?

I think you just need a decoder to clear the settings.
